Two bicycle crashes occurred at the Washington State University (WSU) Student Recreation Center (SRC) on July 9, 2026, according to WSU Police reports. The first incident involved a cyclist crashing on North Fairway Road at 7:45 a.m., with the subject transported to Pullman Regional Hospital. A second crash happened at 12:25 p.m. on the same road, involving an electric bicycle on the sidewalk, also requiring hospital evaluation.
Additional incidents on July 9 included an unconsciousness call at Compton Union Building at 12:59 p.m., where Pullman Fire evaluated the subject, and a disabled vehicle on SR 270 and SE Forest Way at 4:13 p.m., which the owner was able to move. A security detail was performed twice at 1815 NE Wilson Road, once at 11:53 a.m. and again at 12:11 p.m., according to the reports.
Earlier in the week, on July 8, WSU Police responded to a stray sheep report on Ferdinand Street and a false alarm at Duncan Dunn on B Street. On July 7, a seizure was reported at the WSU Children's Center, where Pullman Fire took over the scene. The police log also included two elevator alarms at Perham Hall on July 8, both determined to be non-emergencies.
