Drew Stevens, brother of Washington State sophomore placekicker Jack Stevens, was named the starting kicker for the NFL’s Washington Commanders on Tuesday.
Drew Stevens, an undrafted rookie, edged veteran Jake Moody for the position. The former Iowa Hawkeyes kicker set school records with 76 field goals made, 12 50-plus-yard field goals, and a 58-yard longest kick during his college career. Jack Stevens, who led WSU with a .842 field goal percentage as a redshirt freshman, said his family learned about the NFL signing through social media.
Jack Stevens will prepare for his sophomore season at WSU after a strong 2025 campaign.
