I-405, I-90, I-5 closures continue through Sept. 4

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Multiple Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) construction projects will continue to impact highway traffic in Pullman through Friday, Sept. 4.

I-405 will have overnight closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 3, and nightly from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. through Friday, Sept. 4, affecting both northbound and southbound lanes. I-90's eastbound off-ramp to Factoria Boulevard will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. during the same period. I-5 near Alger/Lake Samish Road will be reduced to a single lane nightly from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Sept. 4.

WSDOT notes these closures are part of ongoing infrastructure projects including fish passage construction on I-5 and utility work on SR 20. Drivers should expect delays and follow detour signs. The I-5 project is scheduled to continue through Sept. 10, while other closures end Sept. 4.
