Starting Monday, July 27, 2026, several road closures and lane restrictions will impact traffic in Pullman and surrounding areas. The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced that up to two lanes of southbound I-405 between mileposts 18. 11 and 16. 45 will be closed nightly from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. through Friday, July 31.
SR 527 will have its center lane closed nightly from 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, July 30. State Route 203 will see one lane closed for paving from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday nights through Friday mornings. A collision on US 395 near Blue Creek Road caused a temporary closure on July 28 from 6:10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with a detour in place.
WSDOT advises drivers to expect delays and follow detour routes. The closures are scheduled to end between July 30 and July 31, depending on the road.
