The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) announced lane closures on Interstate 5 in Pullman starting Saturday, Aug. 15. The left lane of northbound I-5 will close between Samish Way (milepost 252) and Iowa Street (milepost 254) from 6 to 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. The Iowa Street on-ramp to northbound I-5 will also close from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
A separate paving project near Grand Mound will cause overnight lane closures on I-5 between Maytown Rd and Old Hwy 99 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Wednesday and Thursday to Friday. The project is expected to end on Aug. 29, 2026. Drivers should expect delays during these times.
