Pullman Witness Appeal After I-90 Drive-by Shooting

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

Washington State Patrol is seeking witnesses for a drive-by shooting on I-90 that occurred August 18, 2026, between 11:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. The victim, driving a Ford F-650 towing a box trailer, reported being shot at by a passenger in a dark grey Infinity G37 westbound on I-90 near SR 900 and West Lake Sammamish Parkway exit. The victim stopped in a parking lot after the incident, and the Infinity fled westbound.

WSP detectives previously arrested a suspect in a similar July 22, 2026, drive-by shooting on SR 900 near May Valley Road, where a victim's vehicle window was shattered. The suspect was arrested on August 7, 2026, after a high-risk traffic stop. WSP is now asking for dashcam footage or eyewitnesses to the August 18 incident via email to Detective Bergeron.

WSU back-to-school patrols will run August 14-16, focusing on speeding, distracted driving, and impaired driving to address rising collision risks.
