SR 9 traffic alternating at Nelson Rd

Northbound and southbound traffic on State Route 9 at Nelson Road (milepost 76) will alternate due to roadwork starting Monday, Aug. 10, according to WSDOT.

WSDOT also announced several other road closures this week, including nightly closures on I-5, SR 169, SR 96, SR 20, I-405, US 97, and US 12. Most closures will end by Friday, Aug. 14, except for SR 169, which will close for 35 days starting Aug. 17.

Drivers should expect delays and follow detour signs. WSDOT advises planning ahead for travel during these closures.
