Whitman County Emergency Management issued an update to Pullman's emergency alert system effective July 16, 2026.
The update includes revised contact information for emergency notifications and revised evacuation routes for the downtown area. The changes were made following a review of the city's emergency response infrastructure.
Residents are advised to update their emergency contact details in the county's notification system and review the new evacuation routes on the county's emergency management website.
