WSP Seeks Info on Hit-and-Run Injury

On July 13, 2026, at 3:20 a.m., a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on eastbound I-82 near Union Gap, Yakima County, and the driver fled the scene. Luis Vazquez Del Angel suffered serious injuries and was taken to MultiCare Memorial Hospital.

WSP Detectives say the vehicle involved was a 2020-2025 Ford F-Series pickup with front or driver-side damage, including a damaged driver-side tow mirror.
