WSU Receives $3M for Chemistry Labs

🔊 Listen · narrated by Aiden

Washington State University received a $3 million donation from Ned and Nancy Wogman to furnish chemistry labs in the upcoming Integrated Sciences Building. The gift will establish the Dr. Ned and Nancy Wogman Instructional Chemistry Lab Suite, replacing Heald Hall, which is currently being demolished.

The Wogmans, both WSU chemistry alumni and former Pacific Northwest National Laboratory scientists, have previously supported WSU through professorships and scholarships. The new labs will provide hands-on learning spaces for STEM education, with construction plans currently under review.
