WSU's running backs, led by former Montana RBs coach Justin Green, are focused on becoming 'great' after several players returned from the transfer portal.
Green said the running backs 'want to be great' and are 'hungry' to play football, emphasizing that 'numbers don't lie' regarding their dedication. Kirby Vorhees, a 5-foot-11, 207-pound running back, returned to WSU after sitting out the bowl game and signing a revenue-sharing agreement.
The Cougars' running backs unit includes Vorhees, rising sophomore Maxwell Woods, and junior Leo Pulalasi, all returning after initially entering the transfer portal last December.
